B-1/B-2 Visitor Visas (Business or Pleasure)

B-1 visa is a temporary visa for business, which permits a foreign national to visit the US to negotiate contracts, seek investments, or otherwise consult with business partners, but not for pay. The B-2 visa permits visits for pleasure, usually for a few months. Visitors must demonstrate that they can and intend to return to their home country after their period of authorized stay.

Visa Waiver: Travelers coming to the US for 90 days or less may be eligible to visit the US without a visa if they are from a qualifying country and meet the visa waiver program requirements. There are certain restrictions on this classification after entrance.
